In this Weaving Circle you will both string making and how to use this original

COIL STITCH BASKETS
Come and sit in this Weaving Circle and learn the ancient contemplative art of Coil Stitch Weaving. Discover a plethora natural and recycle materials used to weave together spiralling coils of fibre into your own unique basket art piece.
Learn to shape and weave native Bangalow palm into a very aesthetic and organic woven basket sculpture. Place a jar / candle inside for a stunning rustic lantern.
This Weaving Circle explores the strength, flexibility and form created when weaving with natural cane and vines. The warp and weft technique has been used for thousands of years in cultures across the world and is as relevant today as back then.
